Studio Updates regarding COVID-19

{8/1/2021}

Due to the recent rise in Covid cases and the recommendations put forth by the CDC, we ask that students please observe the following guidelines:

  • Please wear a mask in the studio at all times when you are unable to maintain 6 feet of distance from others. Masks are optional during active practice at this time as long as distancing is maintained. {Note: If you are not fully vaccinated against Covid19, we ask that you wear your mask at all times including during class.}

  • Wear a mask during Thai Yoga Therapy appointments or other offerings where you are unable to maintain 6ft of distance.

  • BYOP (bring your own props) other than blocks. If you do not have a bolster or blanket, you may use ours if you bring a pillowcase or hand towel to cover the prop.

  • Regular hand washing and hand sanitizer are still being encouraged.

  • Please do not attend in person classes if you are feeling under the weather.

  • Note that our increased cleaning and safety measures remain in place including disinfecting floors, blocks, studio mats, and other surfaces between classes and using air purifiers during class.

{5/14/2021}

As of 1:30pm May 14th, 2021, masks are now optional during in-person classes!

We will continue to take certain precautions and slowly allow increased capacity in our studios.
We still encourage physical distancing as much as possible in the studio.
We encourage you to wear your mask as you come and go.
Our increased cleaning procedures will continue as they have over the past year, prop use will still be limited for awhile longer.
Virtual classes will continue as they have been.

Some students and teachers may prefer wearing their mask and keeping their distance for their own reasons. It is important for all of us to have this awareness and respect each other's boundaries as we begin to gather in the space together again.

{Note: If you are not fully vaccinated against Covid19 you are still highly encouraged to wear masks in public spaces.}

Please text us at 704-951-7107 or email rachael@ontrackyoga.com if you have questions.

{11/23/2020}

It has been so wonderful to have students in the studio again! We have carefully crafted our schedule to add more and different options based students' needs and attendance. All weekly classes are now being offered In Studio + Online, with the exception of Wednesday Lunchtime Yoga Tone + Stretch, which is online only with Jheni, offered remotely from TX!
*Subject to change based on state Covid-19 safety recommendations / mandates.

In order to ensure that everyone has a way to practice yoga that feels safe for them, our entire weekly schedule will continue to be offered online for the foreseeable future. Instructions for joining online classes are listed at the top of the online schedule. Some classes are being offered online only. These are clearly labeled on ScheduleBliss.
NOTE: Be sure when you register for classes that you choose IN-STUDIO if you are joining us in person. The studio classes are listed separately from the online offering as this is the only way to limit attendance for an indoor class. Register ahead as these classes tend to fill up. If you have registered incorrectly and show up to a full class, we will not be able to let you in.

Please respect the physical and emotional safety of your fellow students and teachers by abiding by the following procedures and guidelines. We want to do everything we can so that everyone feels safe and welcome.

{9/1/2020}

Governor Cooper has announced that NC is moving into Phase 2.5 this Friday, which includes indoor fitness facilities opening at 30% capacity.
THAT’S US! :) As of Saturday, 9/5/2020, our indoor classes will be open to the public.
All of our operational procedures will remain the same as the previous update with the following changes:

  • We no longer have to require a doctor’s note to practice indoors.

  • We will slowly begin to add more indoor classes onto our schedule.

Our entire weekly schedule will continue to be offered online for the foreseeable future. Instructions for joining online classes are listed at the top of the online schedule. Some classes are being offered online only, some classes are being offered outdoors AND online. These will be clearly labeled on the online schedule.

Some classes are being offered online only, some classes are being offered outdoors AND online. These will be clearly labeled on the online schedule.

As of now we are hoping that Governor Cooper will move us into Phase 3 on 9/11, which should mean that we can begin offering indoor classes to everyone who is comfortable attending at that point. We will still offer all classes on Zoom at that time. Some classes will remain online only.

Until Phase 3 is in place and as long as COVID-19 metrics are still trending downward in NC, beginning Monday, 8/31 we are planning to shift a maximum of 2-4 classes per week indoors for students who have a note from a licensed medical practitioner recommending yoga for their health/mental health. (Read about the NCDHHS exception here) These classes will still be streamed online, as indoor classes of any kind are not recommended for anyone who is considered high risk at this time, and we want to make sure everyone has options that make them feel safe. There will be no more than 6 students to a class, following all of the NCDHHS guidelines for safe operations (and more). We will be doing all the extra cleaning, running HEPA air purifiers before/during/after class, very likely keeping the front and back doors/windows open for better airflow.

Procedures for Attending Indoor Classes
