Meditation 101

Do you want to start a meditation practice, but don't know where to begin?  Are you worried that meditation will somehow interfere with your religious beliefs?  This workshops is for you!

This workshop will teach you about the three basic tools for meditation: concentration, mindfulness, and compassion.  You will learn how to break the rules in a constructive way so you can build your own practice that incorporates your belief system.  Learn what meditation is and isn't.  Then, learn to have fun with it!  That's right, FUN!  Meditation doesn't have to be dull or boring.  Rhonda will teach you how to incorporate your personality into your practice so you'll stick with it longer and do it more often.

Studies show that meditation improves state of mind, focus, and pain management.  There are NO negative side effects.  You will feel better in your mind and body.  There is nothing to lose and so much to gain!

Background:  Rhonda has been practicing yoga and meditation for 16 years.  She is certified in Therapeutic Yoga and Yoga for Trauma.
