Originally from Boiling Springs, SC, Christy relocated to Charlotte in 2004, and has resided in Mount Holly since starting her career with the North Carolina Forest Service in 2010. She has always led an active lifestyle mostly outdoors barefoot, and discovered Yoga while in college. Since completing the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training alongside a good friend and hiking mate in June 2016 through Bella Vita in Charlotte, NC, she has a renewed commitment for balance, core strength, flexibility and presence in and out of the studio. Christy values the benefits Yoga has brought into her life and wishes to share this Growth and Health with others.

Elizabeth was born and raised in the Charlotte area and still calls the area home. She began her yoga journey when she was 16 years old at the encouragement of her doctor, who offered yoga as a solution to her "bad" knees from playing tennis for almost 10 years. She instantly began integrating yoga into her exercise routine. It didn't take long for her to fall in love with the other benefits of yoga.
In June of 2016, Elizabeth completed her initial 200hr yoga teacher training with Bella Vita Yoga. She loves teaching kids yoga and helping young yogis experience the fun side of the practice all while receiving the stress relieving benefits. She enjoys teaching flow classes, often taking a more gentle and grounding approach. Elizabeth loves practicing the 5Elements Flow series, and you can often find her at Acro classes, as they remind her of her childhood and years of gymnastics.
Jennifer spent her early years on a dairy farm in Davie County, North Carolina. A tomboy who loved nature and the outdoors, she began taking dance at age five and loved the feelings such movement provided. She began her yoga practice at the Dowd YMCA in 2004 and continued her practice through several studios in Charlotte, NC. It was 2012 when she met Rachael in a studio in Denver, NC and discovered a slower, more alignment focused approach to yoga. Wanting to deepen her own practice, Jennifer enrolled in and completed her 200-hour teacher training with Bella Vita Yoga, a Yoga Alliance registered program, in the spring of 2015. She has a passion for Yin, Gentle/Restorative, and trauma-sensitive yoga. Jennifer has experience with energy work, too. She has received her Reiki level I and level II training from the Reiki Education and Research Institute and received additional Reiki instruction under Reiki Master Sara Sharkey. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in Business and Accounting. In her spare-time she enjoys design, photography, and travel.
Yoga Teacher, Holistic Nutrition Educator
Kassi is a passionate teacher of yoga and holistic nutrition and wellness. She has 12+ years of experience as a committed yoga practitioner and wellness expert and has been teaching for nearly 4 years. She believes yoga’s ability to improve the physical body is only the beginning. As most students soon discover, a better connection to the physical leads to a better understanding of the heart and soul. Kassi’s classes offer a deep and often slow flow of yoga postures with a focus on breath, alignment technique and modifications. In every class, she aims for her students to experience the clarity and peaceful strength that comes from intentional breath and body movement. Her mantra: Breathe and move, wake up every cell, then listen deeply; feel all the feelings, both physical and emotional. Her classes are nurturing and full of love, as she serves to empower her students in ultimately becoming their own best teachers - mindfully guided from within. She believes yoga is not a practice of attainment, but an unending process of self-discovery and transformation. Kassi is also certified as a Holistic Nutrition Educator and offers personalized consultations and small group workshops in Eating for Health, Ayurveda and Mindfulness.
Yoga Teacher, Reiki Practitioner
Katherine was introduced to yoga asana as a pre-teen with scoliosis. In college she fell in love with yoga nidra and in the late 1990s began a dedicated personal practice. Katherine’s goal in teaching yoga is to guide students to move into a deeper connection to the subtle energy and knowledge in their own bodies. Katherine has a therapeutic yoga certification from Subtle Yoga with Kristine Kaoverii Weber and is beginning a certification program in Ayurveda with David Frawley. Katherine also teaches private sessions at On Track Yoga and in Charlotte and focuses on spinal health, chronic pain, and mental health/wellness.
Natalie's love of yoga started in 2008 as a means of stress relief. After leaving her job in 2009, she began to volunteer at Peachtree Yoga Studio in Atlanta to be able to attend classes. It wasn't long before she decided that there was more to it and finished the 200-hr teacher training course through Peachtree Yoga, a Yoga Alliance certified program, in 2010. She enjoys sharing the gift of yoga with others, especially relaxation through hands-on-assist.
E-RYT500, Thai Yoga Therapist, Aerial Yoga Teacher, Acro Yogi, Founder of On Track Yoga
Born and raised in the Charlotte, NC area, Rachael has found her calling through not only teaching yoga and practicing hands-on Thai yoga therapy, but facilitating space for community- where anyone can practice, teachers can share their love of yoga, and life-long friends are made. She began teaching yoga in 2010 and is grateful for the opportunity to introduce herself as a full time yoga teacher and student, Thai yoga therapist (certified by the deonThai™ SCHOOL), and facilitator of good vibes. Rachael is a registered E-RYT 500 with the Yoga Alliance and has completed nearly 1000hrs of training with many different yoga schools, including Wilmington Yoga Center's 500hr Kunga Yoga program. She enjoys teaching alignment-based vinyasa among other styles of yoga, but especially loves empowering beginners in their practice, challenging them to safely and mindfully step outside their comfort zone.
